Watching and waiting


Tonight my eyelids were heavy, they’ve been heavy since four this afternoon. I’m not sure why I’m so tired, maybe it’s the heat. We have a hurricane coming up our right/east and a cold front coming up our left/west. I lain in bed relaxing and listening to preaching, when Sam came in and asked me to come outside and watch the storm out across the water, he said the clouds were lighting up like crazy.

He was right! I’ve never had luck with photographing storms, and I am in no way claiming these as good, but they were the best of what I got. It is a pitch black night with a sliver of a moon covered by clouds, so I was surprised to get anything. I’m pleased! Lesson learned, take time with the kids, and take your camera!
